Premium Leather Care Tips

AAME genuine leather is a natural material that needs a little love to stay beautiful. Think of it like skin: it needs to stay hydrated and clean to prevent "wrinkles" and cracks!

Here is your guide to keeping that bag looking brand new, decorated for a better view:

1. Daily & Weekly Love

Small habits make the biggest difference in how your leather ages.

  • The Quick Dust: Once a week, give it a gentle wipe with a dry microfiber cloth . It removes the dust that can dull the shine.
  • Clean Hands Only: Try to avoid handling your bag right after applying hand cream . The oils can leave dark spots over time.
  • Don't Overstuff: We all love our "everything" bags, but overfilling them can permanently stretch the leather. Keep it light!

2. The "Spa Day" (Every 3–6 Months)

Deep cleaning keeps the leather supple and strong.

  • Step 1: The Cleanse: Use a tiny bit of leather cleaner on a soft cloth. Move in gentle circles .
  • Step 2: The Hydration: Apply a leather conditioner. This is like a moisturizer that prevents the leather from drying out and cracking.
  • Step 3: The Buff: Use a clean, dry cloth to buff the bag until it glows!

3. Proper Storage

When you aren't showing it off, your bag needs a cozy home.

  • Stuff It: Use acid-free tissue paper or an old (clean!) t-shirt to help it keep its shape.
  • Let it Breathe: Store it in a cotton dust bag or a pillowcase . Avoid plastic bags at all costs—leather needs to breathe or it might get moldy!
  • Stay Grounded: Sit the bag upright on a shelf. Hanging it by the straps for months can cause them to stretch or snap.
